Securing a website with HTTPS in Asp.net core is a bit different than with normal asp.net in IIS. In this post I will show to configure asp.net core so that it uses HTTPS.

unable to check revocation
The revocation function was unable to check revocation .. huh? The error ‘The revocation function was unable to check revocation because the revocation server was offline.’ is raised when an application is trying to check if the provided certificate is valid but it is unable to connect to the revocation server.
Keyset does not exist
The “Keyset does not exist” error occurs when a process is trying to manage the private keys of a certificate but the process does not have permission to do so.
